The Port Lands is a 16-acre parcel of land jointly owned by the City of Cornwall and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. Transport Canada divested the land in 2016. This included just over $5 Million to remediate and begin the development of the land.

Now, it's up to our communities to plan for the future. We want to hear your "big picture" ideas. Help the Co-Owners make decisions about future use.

Future uses can include:

  • Recreation/Tourism
  • Commercial
  • Residential
  • A combination of all three
